Where up to 779,000 tonnes of cement used to be produced annually the Ferienpark Kreidesee was created on an area of around 95 hectares. At a depth of 60 metres, the Kreidesee is the third deepest body of water in northern Germany and a world-famous and award-winning diving spot. Scandinavian-style holiday homes and comfortable flats are available for those interested.

Wir kommen schon seit vielen Jahren regelmäßig nach Hemmoor und haben schon viele Häuser genutzt. Das Haus 17 ist top gepflegt und bietet so einige Extras, die die anderen Häuser nicht haben, z.b. USB Ports an den Steckdosen, große überdachte Terasse und großer Getränkekühlschrank. Wenn das Haus verfügbar ist, ist es immer unsere Erste Wahl.
